Getting to and Travelling Around

Getting Around

Singapore is internationally connected through Changi Airport. The Mass Rapid Transit (MRT), public buses, taxis and app-based transport make city travel convenient. The MRT serves many attractions and shopping districts, while walking and cycling work well in selected areas. Sentosa is accessible by monorail, cable car, road and pedestrian routes.

Best Time and Weather

When to Visit

Singapore has a warm, humid tropical climate year-round, generally between 25°C and 32°C. February to April can be favourable for sightseeing, though rain is possible in every month. The northeast monsoon, typically December to early March, brings wetter conditions, especially in December and January. Indoor attractions and shopping make Singapore a year-round destination.
